The Fort of Santa Agueda, also known as Fort Apugan is located in Hagatna, Guam Island, in the Pacific. The Fort was built in the 1800s by the Spanish who ruled the island from 1565 to 1898. It is designed as an overlook to monitor the coming of ships to the island.

There are three authentic cannons on display at the center of the Fort. Each cannon has markings and Spanish Seal. Trips to historical sites such as the Fort of Santa Agueda can be arranged through your hotel, travel agent, the Guam Visitors Bureau, or your host on the island.

Come and visit Guam, your paradise and adventure island in the Pacific.
