TRAVEL GUIDE: KABANKALAN BALICAOCAO HIGHLAND RESORT

Balicaocao Eco-Park, also known as Balicaocao Highland Resort, is located at Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City.  It is nestled on the slope of the mountain 500 feet above sea level which gives you a panoramic view of the lowlands, the City of Kabankalan and the southern part of Negros Occidental.

The Social Hall.

It is wide enough to accommodate a hundred guests. 

Entrance fee is P20.00 per person as of September, 2017.

The swimming pool.

Cottages and Shed Houses.

A cottage costs P1,200.00 for one day or overnight stay.  It can accommodate 4 persons.

 Guests can cook their food near the cottage where the cooking area is available.

Swimming under this waterfalls is prohibited.  It is located on the roadside going to Balicaocao.

How To Get There

From Bacolod City, take a Ceres Bus from the terminal at Lopez Jaena Street.  The bus leaves the terminal every 30-40 minutes.  

From Kabankalan, take a tricycle or single motorcycle to the resort.  Haggle with the driver.  A round-trip of the Tricycle may cost from P200.00 to P300.00.  Tricycle fare from Kabankalan to Balicaocao is P30.00 per person.  These tricycles make regular trips to the resort until about 5:00 p.m.  But, it would be good if you have your own car. 

You can also make an arrangement with the City Tourism Office of Kabankalan.
