THE ADVENTURES OF TINA & CURTIS: SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

 Reminder:

During this time of the Pandemic, it is good to ask the proper authorities regarding the travel guidelines in your country of origin to your country of destination. It is good to prepare all the necessary documents, put them in one folder before you travel. As a reminder, also check the Visa requirements of the country or countries you are supposed to visit.  Changes happen without prior notice.

THE ADVENTURES OF TINE & CURTIS AT SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Touristang Pobre does not have any Blogs since the Pandemic. Travel restrictions especially for the senior citizens of the world, haha, were not easy because we have to deal with the loneliness and itchy feet, lol.

Thanks to Tina and Curtis, this page can share their travel adventures in Santa Barbara, California.

If you live in the U.S. this is not so exciting for you because Santa Barbara is just a plane ride or a car ride away from where you are. But, for someone living on other continents, I just hope this photoblog could give you a hint on what to see in Santa Barbara. So, the next time you visit the U.S. of A., you can swing to Santa Barbara and enjoy its sun, beach, sea, culture, and history.

Santa Barbara was the name of the Channel

A map of the Channel called Santa Barbara that later on was used to call the town along the coast of this part of the Pacific Ocean. Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo first sailed the Santa Barbara Channel in 1542. Spanish maritime explorer Sebastian Vizcaino gave the name Santa Barbara to the channel and one of its islands thereat, 1602. Photo by Lencer, en.wikipedia.org.

This is nicknamed the French Riviera. A famous tourist destination in Santa Barbara. Its beautiful beach fronting the Pacific Ocean is a good place to enjoy the sun, sea, and the cool breeze. It is also a nice place to own a vacation home. Photo by John L. Wiley (Wikipedia).

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, visited this part of Santa Barbara during their visit to California.  (Daily Mail, Frances Hardy, January 2012.)
