MASSACHUSETTS: NATIONAL SHRINE OF THE DIVINE MERCY
The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy
That was a few years ago in succession that I attended the Weekend Mass at the Shrine of the Divine Mercy at Stockbridge, Massachusetts. My children Tsa and Nick introduced me to Kuya Nestor of the Couples For Christ who became my friend and spiritual guide on this weekend mass. That year was followed by another year of attending the mass at the Shrine.
I estimated that there were about a hundred buses and several hundred cars at the Parking Area and the surrounding available parking spot within the Shrine estate.

The priests and brothers of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary have resided on Eden Hill in Stockbridge, since June 1944. The first time that I attended the Sunday Weekend service, the activity began at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m. In the morning there was an Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the Adoration Tent, Music, and Spiritual Presentations at Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine. After lunch, we attended the Divine Mercy Solemn Liturgy at Mother of Mercy Shrine and the Solemn Celebration of the Hour of Great Mercy, Novena and Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, Exposition and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and Blessing of Religious Articles. Mine was a "rose" rosary given by the leader of the Pilgrimage after I answered the question: Who was the real name of St. Pope John Paul II? My answer was Karol (Josef) Wojtyla.
The mass was also a double celebration of the sainthood of St. Pope John XXIII and St. Pope John Paul II. It was a memorable day for me as I accomplished my personal mission to pray for my family.
For those interested to visit the Shrine, this is the address: National Shrine of the Divine Mercy, 2 Prospect Hill Rd, Stockbridge, MA 01263 with telephone number (413) 298-3931. For those who use GPS, this address can help you find your way.

Together with hundreds of other Pilgrims, our group from New Jersey was composed of members of the Couples For Christ. For me, it will be my second time attending a Mass in the Shrine.
