LITTLE THINGS I DO TO PREVENT BOREDOM DURING THE PANDE

Little Things I Do to Prevent Boredom During the Pandemic

The Pandemic has created so many distractions in our daily activities. It was, really, creating unnatural behaviors that shock most of us. Like when I stayed home since March 2020 until the end of 2021.

I still guess that I will, probably, continue to be staying at home until the middle of 2022, I guess. Staying at home is not my cup of tea, so to speak. I have crazy feet that craves to travel and be on the move most of the time. So, making me stay at home is an unnatural behavior for me. It's like "que horror" moment for me, haha.

So, in order to keep my sanity intact, lol, I had to find some ways and means to keep myself busy, and one of them was reading.

Through the years, I had accumulated a lot of books at home that were bestsellers when I bought them. Since the home that I am talking about is in the Philippines, I had to buy books from amazon, ebay, or Thrift Books while I am stranded in the U.S. because of the "carbonara", hehe.

My unforgettable photos of the Horseshoe Bay Beach at Bermuda Island. I enjoyed travel and blogging as well as photography before the pandemic.

It's a very interesting book that will enable you to understand and respect people even if they are, for example, fond of manifesting good bias towards others. The skill and knowledge you will acquire from this book will give you an idea to understand people based on that person's behavior, speech, body language and so on and so forth. But this will not give you the authority to be judgmental. This book is just a guide to understand people.

Another activity that occupied most of my vacant time is creating home videos that found their way into my YouTube Channel. I was forced by circumstances, due to the pandemic, to create a YT channel even if I am not a "techie" just like the rest of you, haha. I still have so much to learn, nevertheless, I tried to produce a few videos.

Hereunder, are a few of my videos showing my very simple cooking and eating activities. Most people say it is "Mukbang". So, I have it here in this blog a food review or Mukbang.

I love Burrito so when my children prepared the ingredients, I made my own Burrito and Vlog it here. Simple activity guys, but it can drive away boredom. As far as the Recipe is concerned, you can find several recipes from the internet. I will share with you this one - The Easiest Burrito Recipe - The Seasoned Mom
Thanks to "The Seasoned Mom"

Chicken Alfredo is my favorite pasta. This one was purchased from Applebee's. I like its creamy flavor and the taste of chicken and pasta. Added with Broccoli, it increased its health value.
Sorry, I mentioned spaghetti, what I actually mean is Fettuccine, the pasta that was used in making chicken alfredo.
There are several ways of preparing Chicken Alfredo. This link will give you an idea how to make Chicken Alfredo.
Thanks to Taste of Home dot com.

My grandchildren loves Spring Rolls which is also known in the Philippines as Lumpia. There are two ways of preparing Lumpia - fried and fresh Lumpia.

Jollibee food show or Mukbang.
We bought my favorite Jollibee Spaghetti from a nearby Jollibee store, just 5 minutes away from our home.

It's the second week of January 2022 and there seems to be no "stopping" of the Pandemic.

Let's hang on my friends. As what Lyman Frank Baum* said: "Everything has to come to an end, sometime."
"Daw nag duda na lang ako ah."
