WEEK-END @ WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT

It was a quick decision to travel to Waterbury to discover one of its attractions this Spring, the Coco Key Water Resort. It is located on 3680 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. With the help of the GPS, the place is easy to locate.  We traveled from New Jersey and it took us almost an hour to reach the place.
Coco Key Water Resort was a hit with my grandchildren.  It is an in-door water resort and the temperature is controlled.  It has several facilities that assures the children's enjoyment.  Time was running fast but we did not notice that it was already past the lunch time.  So, we had to buy our lunch from the food court, since the kids were stuck to the kiddie's pool.  Their happiness were beyond measures, so to speak, as they frolic with other kids.  When my granddaughter fell asleep at about three o'clock, we decided to call it a day and headed to the parking area.
The County of New Haven where Waterbury City belongs, is home to Post University and the Regional Campuses of the University of Connecticut, University of Bridgeport, and Western Connecticut State University.
The Township of Naugatuck, New Haven County, is the home of various corporations with names that ring a bell.  One of these that caught my eyes as I travelled the road of Naugatuck was Dale Carnegie Center.  It is a vast and sprawling area with big buildings housing the various offices and Training Centers of Dale Carnegie.  How I wish I could be rich enough to pay its tuition fees.  Dale Carnegie offers Training in Leadership Development, Sales Effectiveness, Customer Service, among many others.  Near the Carnegie Center are buildings of other big companies like Hyatt, URS, and others. Connecticut is popular not only for facilities like Coco Key Water Resort, but also for its historical sites, institutions of learning, global corporate offices, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants and other services. If I enjoyed my week-end get away here in Waterbury and New Haven County, Connecticut, I am sure you might as well.
