AIR MOBILITY COMMAND MUSEUM 

DELAWARE

 The Air Mobility Command is a Major Command of the U. S. Air Force.  Although it headquartered in Illinois, I had the opportunity to visit its Museum in Dover City, Delaware.  All photos featured in this blog are captured by Henry Libo-on. 

We were on a visit to the relatives of my son-in-law in Dover, Delaware when his cousin suggested that we visit the Air Mobility Command Museum. We were, of course, excited to go there. 

Hundreds of tourists from the U.S. and around the world visit the museum every day.  Hereunder are the various aircraft on display at the Museum.

 I had the chance to get inside this Cargo Plane.  The plane carries military personnel as well as cargoes. 

 My granddaughter enjoys riding this smallest airplane on exhibit at the Museum. 

 My grandson is playing pilot in this Biplane which I failed to check its name. 

 We are, indeed, a huge group on this tour of the Museum. 

I had the great opportunity to get inside the Vice President's Plane.  It is one of the most modern aircraft on display. 

My Impression of the Air Mobility Command Museum 

Coming from a third-world country, I was in a state of "awe" at seeing the hugeness of the aircraft on display. For example, C 130, among others. The wide collection of aircraft used in times of war and peace made me realize that America is indeed a powerful nation.
