Introduction

Victorias has been in the "tourism highway" of the province of Negros Occidental being the site of the world-famous The Angry Christ or the St. Joseph, The Worker Chapel in Victorias Milling Company compound, Vicmico.

Added to the tourism attraction of the city is the now popular summer destination for the locals and Balikbayans, the Gawahon Eco-Park Resort and Gawahon Falls. It is about 25–30-minute drive from Victorias City.

For the past few years, the city government constructed the Victorias City Coliseum which had become the venue of various social and sports events not only in the city but the neighboring towns as well. Even provincial and national events had been held in the coliseum.

Recently, this writer visited Victorias Aquatic Center otherwise known as Victorias City Resort. The link to the story is provided at the bottom of the page.

Now, we feature the Victorias Hotel.

The hotel is located on Osmena Avenue or the national highway. Beside it is the Victorias City Coliseum. It is easy for you to locate this hotel because it is along the road.

Rooms:

1.  Double/Twin Room - P1,600 per night

2.  Triple De Luxe Room - P2,000.00 per night

3.  Family Suite - P3,000.00 per night

4.  Executive Suite - P3,000.00 per night.

These rooms are available. The food and beverage department are, for me, a work in progress. So, it is good to bring your own food or make arrangement with the management when you book for your room or rooms. The City Mall is about 5-minute ride from the hotel. The Mall is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

You can ask the receptionist for assistance.

At the back of the hotel is the Victorias Aquatic Center aka Victorias City Resort. There are swimming pools here for kids, adults and the Olympic size swimming pool. There cottages, shed houses, pavilions for events like wedding receptions, birthdays, seminars and trainings, team building exercises, reunions and family gatherings, among others.

So, you stay in the hotel, and you have the resort nearby.

How to get there?

By private car, it is approximately 30-35 minutes from Bacolod City. You can ride the Ceres Bus from Bacolod City or from San Carlos City to Victorias City.

The hotel is visible from the national highway or Osmena Avenue.

Now, let's see these photos.

Entrance to the Reception Area.

This is the waiting area of the hotel.

This "flyer" states the different rooms and their rates per night.

Three beds in a room.

By the way, each room has bathroom and toilet with modern plumbing and fixtures.

Hereunder is the photo of the "Banga" or road leading to the Aquatic Center and a village in this part of the city.
The Victorias Hotel is located along this national highway or known in the city as
Osmena Avenue.

The Victorias Hotel is also a "work in progress" as the management is improving the first level, I mean the second floor. However, the ground floor is now ready for occupancy.

At the back of the hotel (background) is the Victorias Aquatic Center or Victorias City Resort. Here, you see the photo of the slide leading to the swimming pool for adults. The swimming pool for kids is visible at the back of the slide. On the right side of the building is the way - from the hotel to the pool. "Lapit lang nu?"

This is the food court of the City Mall in Victorias City.
The mall is approximately 5-minute drive from the hotel. "Malapit lang."

Now, I hope this feature article will help you decide to spend time in this twin facility in Victorias City, the Victorias Hotel and the Victorias City Resort.

My tips:

There are shed houses, cottages, and pavilion where you can bring your family and friends. Be it birthday, anniversary, or simply for bonding or chillax as they say.
