Introduction
Bonjour.
It was a sunny day in Paris when my grandchildren visited the different landmarks that made Paris famous all over the world. The kids' adventure in Paris was actually planned by their parents few years ago but put on hold because of the Pandemic. This year, however, many countries in Europe had opened to tourism. So, it was a "go" for the kids' tour of Europe.
The journey begins in London.
The St. Pancras International Train Station in London is the main hub of Eurostar Trains that service the London to Paris, and other destinations in Europe. You must come early to the train station for passport processing and security check. You are also allowed to carry your own luggage, backpacks, and other personal effects. Eurostar Trains serves the London to Paris and other destinations in Europe. Travel time to Paris is around 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Arrival in Paris
From London, Eurostar stops right in the heart of the capital of France at Gare du Nord Train Station. According to my research, "since all passport checks" have been done in the U.K. you can just jump right out of the train and move into action. Opps, please don't forget your luggage and other valuables before stepping out of the train.
Triumphal Arch of the Star
Popularly known as Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile it is located at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle. The Arch honors those who died in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War 1. The Arch was designed by French architect Jean Chalgrin in 1806.
The Wikipedia states that the Arch of Titus in Rome was the inspiration for the Arc de Triomphe. It was the tallest triumphal arch at 50 meters in height but in 1938 Mexico City's Monumento a la Revolucion became the tallest triumphal arch at 67 meters in height. (Wikipedia).
There are a ton of hotels in Paris. Most of these are clustered around the Champ de Mars area. It is the largest public greenspace in Paris, France, which was named after a Roman god of War - Martius.

Where to eat?
There are a ton of restaurants and bars in Paris. It is the city of lights which suggests that nightlife in Paris is alive and kicking anytime of the year. So, find the one you like by searching them online. But I would like to suggest you visit one of these restaurants in the Eiffel Tower:
1. Le 58 Tour Eiffel. It offers picnic style lunches as well as 3-course French meals.
2. Jules Verne Restaurant on the second level of the Eiffel Tower. It is very popular because of its good food and ambience.
3. The Buffets
4. The Champagne Bar
5. Madame Brasserie
***These restaurants offer a good view of the city of Paris from the tower.
